This luxury wet room bathroom renovation was undertaken once the children had left home. Allowing the space to be completely revamped and upgraded it into a personal luxury haven. The tired dated bathroom was transformed into a modern, bespoke space designed to suit the reduced family needs.

With no requirement for a bath or double vanity, the brief shifted toward creating a highly personal and indulgent bathroom. The client wanted a space that felt chic, luxurious and totally unique – from the custom tile selection to the custom coloured vanity and one of a kind vessel basin. The result is a bathroom that balances beauty with everyday practicality.

To achieve this transformation, the entire bathroom was stripped back to its original framing timbers and floors. As is often required in older homes, we did some necessary tweaks of straightening walls and strengthening the floor.  From there it was then reconfigured, relined, waterproofed, painted, then fully tiled creating a wet room.

A custom made tile pattern and colourway were made overseas to specifically fit this room, forming a distinctive flower type pattern that defines the space.  This was complemented by a bespoke vanity and luxury tapware, bringing this luxury wet room bathroom renovation alive, with a tailored high end finish. 

The result is a sophisticated wet room bathroom that feels quietly luxurious and deeply personal. Every detail was carefully considered, transforming and everyday room into a boutique-like hotel space.
