This bathroom renovation in Auckland had plenty of space, but the layout wasn’t working well. The clients wanted to improve the functionality, introduce a bath and update everything from the fixtures and fittings to the tiles and finishes, creating a design that would stand the test of time.

A classic palette of black, white and grey set the direction for the design, with a new layout making much better use of the available space. A larger shower, generous vanity and LED demisting mirror were incorporated, along with a new bath featuring a curved end to soften the entrance and improve the flow through the room.

Before the new finishes could go in, the underlying structure needed attention. We replaced the damaged particleboard subfloor with new plywood and carried out repairs to the walls and framing, providing a solid foundation for the renovation. The bathroom was then fully tiled, with new fixtures, fittings and finishes bringing the design together.

The result is a classic, timeless bathroom that looks beautiful, functions far better for the family and is built to last. Most importantly, the clients are thrilled with their new space.
